E-Safety Champions

Well Done to our new E-Safety Champions, who were announced today in assembly. They were chosen from lots of applicants.

This afternoon they had their first meeting and have already decided on their first task. They are going to make 'Worry Boxes' for the hall and classrooms so that children can have a place to share their worries. They have already planned to make the boxes this week and to introduce them to the rest of the school on Monday's Assembly. I think they are going to be a very hardworking group!

E Safety Assembly - 7th February 2017 4th April 2017

Our E-safety Champions held an assembly to  celebrate e-safety day. They shared stories about using the internet and problems that we might find, such as seeing things that worry us, and what we we can do if we are ever worried about anything we see online.

16th January 2017

The E-Safety Champions met today to have a look at our latest E-Safety Questionnaires. They agreed that the questions would be good to help to make sure everyone is safe online and have taken copies back to classes for everyone to complete. We will look at the results in next Monday's meeting and decide what actions we need to take.

9th January 2017

The E-Safety Champions met today to start planning for Safer Internet Day which is on 7th February 2017. They will be presenting the assembly on that day and have planned which assembly they will perform. They will be meeting again in two weeks to practise and to look at some of the other resources for 'Safer Internet Day' that they could use in their classes.

They will also decide on some useful links and resources for parents that can be added to  our school website.
